Every F1 driver from the year 2005 - 2021 represented as a network akin to Kevin Bacon's Six Degrees of Separation. While the nodes represent drivers the node size reflects on the number of teammates (degrees) they've had in this period. The connection affirms drivers being teammates at least for a single race. Also noted as red connecting lines are the current 2021 (July 2021) driver pairings. An attempt was also made at coloring the development / junior team affiliated drivers as well during the ~2010 period and onwards.
Junior programs include Ferrari, Red Bull, Renault/Alpine, Williams, McLaren and Mercedes.
Do we have a case for a Hulkenberg's or Ricciardo's F1 Degrees of Separation? Feel free to click around and explore the connections and how many hops it takes to get to two of your favorite drivers. Look for the sliders and radio bottom at the bottom of the screen to adjust the physics of the movements in the plot.
